The artists strives to motivate and inspire, designing her classes and workshops to help each participant in the development of fine art principles and techniques.  Fay is a popular teacher and students comment on her ability to teach.

"Thank you very much for the fabulous workshop that you taught us!  I really enjoyed, but even

more importantly, I learned so much.  You are a great teacher!  I'm excited!"

                                                                                                       Sheryl Daniel, Johnson City, Tennessee

She makes every effort to give each participant the time and attention he/she needs in each class or workshop.  The sessions are informative, fun filled, satisfying and energetic.

Fay's artist's statement:  "Most of my career in art has been and is now devoted to portrait art.  However, I also relish producing fine art compositions.  Both my artistic ability and the development of it have brought so much to my life, serving to motivate, restore and challenge me.  A worthy occupation...I love to paint pictures!  The following scripture has been fulfilled in my life in many ways and surely one of them is through my art."  Isaiah 61:3 'Beauty for ashes and joy for mourning.'  "I enjoy teaching...my goal is to share my knowledge with others by encouraging them to find fulfillment in learning to paint and produce art."
