Eluster Richardson
ElusterArt.com

"Uplifting, inspiring and educational" are often the words heard when speaking of Eluster Richardson's art. Born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida, Eluster began painting as a child in the third grade.

His works have won numerous awards in Florida and have been exhibited across the state in these institutions; Bethune-Cookman College fine art gallery, Daytona Beach and the Zora Neale Hurston Museum in Eatonville, Florida. He was the visual arts director for Tallahassee's 1198 Harambee Festival. Eluster is the Artist-in-Residence for the Riley House Museum and Resource Center of African-American History and Culture which is the home of many of his historical works.

Eluster prefers painting people stating, "people are such a challenge" and especially enjoys children as a subject. He is proficient in oils and pencil but his medium of preference is watercolor.
